Trestle Tables

Amish Trestle Tables: Solid Wood Dining Tables

Shop Amish trestle tables built from solid hardwood in traditional, Mission, farmhouse, and contemporary designs. A trestle table uses two supporting assemblies connected by a stretcher rather than four corner legs, creating a distinctive base and often flexible seating along the sides.

Why Choose a Trestle Dining Table?

Trestle bases can work especially well with dining benches and can reduce interference from corner legs. The exact amount of usable seating space depends on the location and width of the trestles, so compare the base dimensions with your planned chair placement.

Extension Trestle Tables

Many trestle tables are offered with extension leaves. Leaf quantity, leaf width, and self-storage capability vary by model. For frequent entertaining, compare both the closed and fully extended dimensions before choosing a table.

Choosing a Trestle Table Size

Consider room dimensions, desired seating capacity, and clearance around the table. A general starting point is approximately 24 inches of table-edge space per diner, but chair width and trestle placement can change the practical capacity.

Customization

Depending on the model, choices may include table size, hardwood species, stain or finish, edge profile, and extension configuration. Review each product page for its exact options.
