Mission Antique Bed

The bed is gorgeous and extremely well-built. It's exactly what I wanted.

The bed that I received is a beautiful, very well-made piece of furniture, professionally delivered.

But...the opening for the mattress is 4 inches longer than customary. I was informed that this is by design. So I have a 4" gap between the mattress that I retained from the previous bed and this bed's footboard. I intend to shorten the rails in order to regain 4" of my bedroom floor space and to eliminate the gap.

We love our Mission Antique Bed. It is well made, sharp looking and and so comfortable. Definitely recommend.
